Two people die in road mishap

Damauli (Tanahun): Two people died in a road accident at Aandhikhola of Aanbu Khaireni rural municipality-1 in Tanahu district today.

According to the Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Tanahu, Munendra Thapa, the deceased has been identified as truck driver Bhesh Raj Parajuli aged 30, of Udayapur and his helper 28-year-old Bijay Bishwokarma, of Rautahat.

The accident took place when the truck heading towards Dumre from Anbukhaireni hit a jeep coming from the opposite direction.

The truck had fallen from the bridge.

However, police said that four passengers in the jeep were safe.
