Call for proper utilization of local resources: Leader Sharma

Galkot (Baglung), Dec. 7: Assistant General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Centre) Janardan Sharma has said that the country could be taken to the path of economic prosperity through best utilization of local means and resources.

At a programme or industrialist and business communities here Saturday, the former finance minister said that the state should pay much attention to the extraction of iron, copper and other invaluable minerals.

Saying that the country has done good progress in the information technology sector, he said much is left to do from the state side in this sector.

Likewise, religious tourists’ number could be increased in Muktinath, Kalika Bhagawati and other sites in this geographic territory and stressed the need of massive publicity on importance of Shaligram found in the Kaligandaki River.
