Karnali Yaks secure their first win in ongoing Nepal Premier League

December 6, Kathmandu: The Karnali Yaks secured their first victory in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) by defeating the Chitwan Rhinos in a thrilling match held at Kirtipur on Friday.

Winning the toss, the Yaks opted to field first and restricted the Rhinos to a total of 130/7 in 20 overs. Chasing a target of 131, Karnali showcased composure under pressure, reaching the target in 19.5 overs with six wickets in hand.

This marks the Yaks’ maiden win in the tournament, while the Chitwan Rhinos suffered first setback.
