Saudi Arabia secures third term as ACAO Aviation Security Chair
November 26, Kathmandu: Saudi Arabia has secured the presidency of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization’s (ACAO) Civil Aviation Security Committee for the third consecutive term, following unanimous approval at the 40th committee meeting held in Rabat, Morocco.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this achievement highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing leadership in regional and global aviation. It underscores the Kingdom’s active role in shaping aviation policies and its strong presence in international forums dedicated to civil aviation.
On this occasion, Mohammed Al Fozan, Executive Vice-President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) for Aviation Security and Chairman of the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme–Middle East (CASP-MID), expressed gratitude to the King and Crown Prince for their unwavering support of the aviation sector.
He emphasized the importance of enhancing Arab collaboration in aviation security and transportation while maintaining global safety standards.
