Government on track as performance review marks positive progress: Communication Minister Gurung

Kathmandu: Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung reports that the government’s 100-day performance evaluation shows promising advancements.

Speaking at a press conference today to unveil the latest cabinet decisions, Minister Gurung, who also serves as the Government Spokesperson, highlighted improved capital expenditure and stated that 70 percent of the established targets have been achieved.

Despite challenges like natural disasters, Gurung noted positive economic indicators and efforts to inspire public confidence. Additionally, the Cabinet approved Janak Education Material Center Limited’s involvement in printing postage stamps, land registration certificates, and visa stickers.

The Council of Ministers also authorized the use of 6.06 hectares of national forest in Myagdi’s Raghuganga Rural Municipality for constructing a 220 kV transmission line for the Thulo Khola hydroelectric project.
