Three drown in two separate incidents in Kaski
Kaski, July 19: Three people died in two separate water-related incidents in Kaski district. They died after drowning in a river and a pond on Friday.
Two youths drowned while swimming in the Harpankhola rivulet at Ghantichhina of Pokhara Metropolitan City-23, according to the spokesperson at the District Police Office, Basanta Kumar Sharma.
Those killed in the incident were Prakrit Buddhacharya, 18, from Mohariya Tole of Pokhara-1, and Swayam Tamrakar, 18, from Baglung Bus Park of Pokhara-2.
They were friends with each other and had gone swimming in the rivulet.
Similarly, Sachin Pariyar, 6, from Pokhara-26, died, by drowning in the Gudetal pond.
