Devotees flock to Pashupatinath from early morning

Kathmandu. Holy Pilgrimage Pashupatinath temple has been thronged by devotees since early morning on the first day of the Nepali month Shrawan. Devotees lined up since early morning to offer prayers at Pashupatinath. Throughout the month of Shrawan, special worship of devotees is held in Pashupatinath temple along with Shivalayas all over the country. Revathiraman Adhikari, spokesperson of Pashupati Area Development Fund also informed that devotees have been thronging the Pashupatinath temple since early morning on the first day of Shrawan.

He said, “Shrawan is the month of Shivaji and Monday is known as the special day to offer prayers to God.” The Development Fund has informed that from today, there will be more crowds of devotees than last year as programs like Kotihome and reading of Shivpuran will be organized in the Pashupati area.
