Heavy rain in Morang and Sunsari, caution requested by authorities

Belbari (Morang), June 25: Sudden floods may occur in small riverside due to heavy rain since the night in Morang and Sunsari. Hence, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has told the residents to be alert for sudden floods.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there has been heavy rain in the last three hours around different places of Sunsari, Dharan, Itahari and Morang.

According to the department, sudden floods may occur in Seuti, Sardu, Sunsari Khola in Sunsari and Budikhola, Kesalia, Lohandra, and Chisang in Morang.

In this way, the department has asked to be on high alert till noon today.
