Eid al-Fitr today!

April 11, Kathmandu: Thursday marks the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, a prominent festival in the Islamic calendar.

Following the month-long observance of Ramadan, Muslims worldwide gather to mark this joyous occasion.

In many countries, especially in the Middle East, Eid al-Fitr was celebrated on Wednesday, while in the countries of the sub-continent, including Nepal, it is being celebrated on Thursday

Families unite in festive gatherings, exchanging gifts and indulging in feasts.

Acts of charity and compassion towards the less fortunate are also carried out today, embodying the spirit of generosity and gratitude synonymous with Eid al-Fitr.
