Nepal Police adopts special security plans for Holi, Drone monitoring in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu: Nepal Police has made special security plans to make Holi, the festival of color, more dignified, safe and peaceful. Nepal Police have mobilized around 30 thousands police for Holi and even managed Drone monitoring in the Kathmandu valley.
The security arrangements will be effective till Tuesday.
Central Police Spokesperson Bhim Prasad Dhakal said that 29 thousand 7 hundred and 33 police personnel were mobilized. Spokesperson Dhakal said maximum number of security officials are mobilized in the Nepal-India border points and are patrolling in official uniform and even civil dress. He said the special security plan is implemented in order to make Holi amicable.
Similarly, Spokesperson Dhakal said that a separate police team was mobilized for Police trekking, drug and alcohol checks, and picket duty.
Police even requested all the people to celebrate Holi without any fear. He said that actions would be taken against those persons who involve themselves in pasting colors to others without their approval, charge others with balloons, enhance unwanted shoutings, involve in fighting and disorderly activities.
Nepal Police have also tightened the border areas of the Kathmandu Valley. According to Nepal Police Central Office, Naxal, the vehicular checking has been going on in more than 90 places since 7 a.m.
More than one thousand traffic police have been mobilized in with 30 mobile vans.
