National Cadet Corps’ program an opportunity to enhance bilateral ties with allied forces: Prime Minister

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the ‘National Cadet Corps’ program has provided the Nepali Army with an important opportunity to enhance bilateral relations with the military forces of allied countries.

In a meeting with the military trainees participating in the training exchange program between the military officers of various South Asian countries under the National Cadet Corps (NCC) program, he expressed the hope of expanding awareness and respect for the economic, social and cultural conditions of each other’s countries.

“I believe, this program will highlight the invisible borders between countries and reduce them,” said Prime Minister Prachanda, “it will convey a strong message that the entire world is an interconnected community.”

Expressing the belief that such programs will develop the youth of various fields as dedicated, disciplined and responsible future leaders and citizens, the Prime Minister said that he will commit to nationalism, leadership, self-confidence and volunteering for the country.

Expressing his belief that the program will not only develop self-esteem in the youth, but also community development and inspire them to volunteer in times of need, Prime Minister Prachanda said that it will develop multifaceted knowledge in the energetic youth. National Cadet Corps from Nepal, India, Pakistan and Maldives participated in the youth exchange program.
