PM directs Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to give high priority to start-up for the youth
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has directed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to give high priority to start-up for the youth.

During a ministerial discussion with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies at Singha Darbar this afternoon, Prime Minister Dahal instructed the ministry to promote entrepreneurship among the youth through the Business Incubation Center in all seven provinces.

The Prime Minister also called on the ministry to prepare a special plan to connect the innovative ideas of at least 20 thousand youths to the production of goods and services by mobilizing the startup fund.
He also asked the ministry to arrange a ‘jobmeter’ to measure the jobs created by self-employed, startups and various businesses.
In the meeting, Industry, Commerce and Supplies Minister Ramesh Rijal stated that the more budget should allocated for the promotion of industry and commerce.

Likewise, Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal, stressed the need for preparing an action plan and implementing the issues covered by the Prime Minister’s recent address to the nation.
