Police personnel scales Mt Everest

May 18, Kathmandu: The Senior Sub Inspector of Nepal Police, Purushottam Nepali, scaled Mt Everest successfully on Wednesday.

It is the first time a Nepal Police personnel reached the Everest. Nepali represented Nepal police and hoisted the national flag upon the summit.

He embarked on the Everest climbing mission as part of the Nepal Police’s programme for the 100th anniversary of INTERPOL. Nepal is the 100th member of INTERPOL.
