Health Ministry directs employees to abide by code of conduct

Kathmandu: Ministry of Health and Population has directed all of its employees to abide by the code of conduct.

Issuing a notice on Sunday, Information Officer at the Ministry, Dr Bhakta Bahadur KC, asked the Ministry employees to carry out assigned duties responsibly and abide by the code.

Section 52-68 of the Health Service Act, 2053 has been reminded by the Ministry to employees working in various departments, institutes, hospitals, health facilities and offices.

The employees under the Health Ministry are asked not to involve in politics nor criticize government activities, the code mentions. Professional integrity is warranted by all employees.
