Pak Embassy organizes flag hoisting ceremony to mark Pakistan Day

March 23, Kathmandu: The Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu on Thursday organized a flag hoisting ceremony at the Embassy premises to celebrate Pakistan Day.

 Charge d’ Affaires Umair Ali hoisted the national flag during the ceremony.

Messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Umair Ali recalled the determination and resolution of Muslims in 1940 to create a separate homeland for themselves and their future generations.

He underlined the need for reaffirming the commitment to make Pakistan the homeland that the forefathers had envisioned.

Members of the Pakistani community in Nepal and officials of the Embassy attended the flag-hoisting ceremony.
