Dahal and Wagle awarded INJA Investigative Journalism Award

February 22, Kathmandu: The International Network of Nepali Journalists (INJA) has decided to confer this year’s Investigative Journalism Award to journalist duo Matrika Dahal and Tara Wagle.
Matrika Dahal has been writing on the issues of good governance, public administration, domestic and international security, crime and public interest since starting his journalism career in 2008.
Dahal currently works for the Kantipur daily. He has also worked for Dibya Darshan and Rahasya weeklies, and Karobar and Nagarik dailies.
Similarly, Tara Wagle has been extensively reporting on discrimination and violence against women, and public administration. She has been in the media sector for the past 15 years.
She is currently working for ins news. She has worked in Rajdhani and Nepal Samacharpatra dailies and Himal fortnightly.
Both of them will be awarded a cash prize of each Rs 50,000 amidst a function to be organized on March 1 (INJA’s anniversary).
