HoR and PA Polls: Vote counting under PR on, NC, UML get over 800 thousand votes

November 25, Kathmandu: Vote counting under the election to the Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) and Province Assembly (PA) is in progress. According to the Election Commission, the CPN (UML) is on the top of the vote-count tally towards the Proportional Representation (PR) election system as per the vote-count until 6 am on Friday.

The UML has been leading the PR vote tally since the beginning of the vote counting. It has secured 894 thousand 409 votes so far.

The Nepali Congress has garnered 857 thousand 621 votes and the Rashtriya Swatantra Party has 432 thousand 575 and is in the third position in terms of the number of votes towards the PR election system so far.

The CPN (Maoist Centre), which is in the fourth position in the votes tally, has collected 402 thousand 499 votes and the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is in the fifth position with 233 thousand 375.

Similarly, the Janata Samajbadi Party has got 112 thousand 579 votes, the Janamat Party 67 thousand 614, the Nagarik Unmukti Party 62 thousand 547, the CPN (Unified Socialist) 61 thousand 704 and Nepal Workers and Peasants Party 56 thousand 183 votes till now.

Likewise, the Lokatantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal obtained 51 thousand 200 votes, the Hamro Nepali Party 29 thousand 423, the Rashtriya Janamorcha 21 thousand 814, and the Mongol National Organisation 17 thousand 186 votes.

The CPN (ML), the Rashtriya Janamukti Party, the Nepal Sanghiya Samajbadi Party, the Sanghiya Lokatantrik Rashtriya Manch, the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, among other parties, each has garnered less than 10 thousand votes towards the PR system so far.
