President Paudel stresses rule of law and zero tolerance for corruption to ensure good governance
Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has said that the proper use of public resources, zero tolerance for corruption, rule of law and ethical conduct are essential foundations of good governance.
Addressing the inauguration of the newly constructed administrative building of Dakshinkali Municipality today, President Paudel urged public representatives and civil servants to consider public positions as responsibilities and opportunities to serve the people, rather than personal privileges.

He expressed confidence that the new building would help deliver public services in a faster, more transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly manner.
The President also stressed the need to modernise administrative practices through information technology, digital services and effective grievance-handling systems.
