India’s newly appointed Ambassador Dalela arrives in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: Newly appointed Ambassador of India to Nepal, Sudhakar Dalela, arrived here today.

Ambassador Dalela was welcomed by officials from the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Most recently, Dalela served as India’s Ambassador to Bhutan from 2022 to 2025. Prior to his appointment as India’s Ambassador to Nepal, he held the position of Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.

Dalela replaces outgoing Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava, who returned home following the completion of his tenure.
