Nepali entrepreneur Lamichhane donates Rs 10.5 million to PM Disaster Fund
Kathmandu, Oct 4: Rabi Jung Lamichhane, a philanthropist and Nepali entrepreneur based in the United Kingdom, has donated Rs 10.5 million to aid victims of the recent Bhotekoshi mudslide disaster.
As the chairman of the Lamichhane Foundation, he facilitated the transfer of funds to a designated bank account at the Nepali Embassy in London.
The donation was formally presented during a ceremony at the embassy, attended by Acting Ambassador (chargé d’affaires ad interim) Bipin Duwadi and Member of Parliament Bidushi Rana.
The funds will be directed to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, reflecting Lamichhane’s commitment to supporting his homeland during crises and natural disasters. RSS
