63 houses damaged in natural disaster in Galkot
Baglung, Oct 4: The Galkot municipality has reported that a total of sixty-three residential structures have sustained damage as a result of flooding, landslides, and severe weather conditions occurring throughout the preceding week within the Galkot municipality.
According to official records from Galkot municipality, the damage encompasses sixty-three structures, including one municipal ward office facility.
Further assessment indicates that an additional one hundred thirty-three structures have experienced partial damage.
The severe weather conditions resulted in thirty-nine structures being completely destroyed and fifty-two structures sustaining partial damage.
In addition, twenty-one concrete irrigation infrastructure systems have incurred substantial damage, while twenty-four have sustained minor structural damage.
Furthermore, two hundred three rudimentary irrigation structures have also experienced damage. RSS
