Weather Update: Westerly winds affecting multiple regions

Kathmandu, October 4: The westerly wind patterns are having a partial impact on various areas in the Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces, as well as the western parts of Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.

Meanwhile, the monsoon winds are also making their presence felt across all regions of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati Provinces, along with the remaining areas of Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces.

According to the meteorological forecasting division, generally overcast skies are expected in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces today.

In contrast, the Himalayan and hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces are likely to see partly cloudy conditions. The Terai regions throughout the country are expected to remain partly cloudy as well.

Moderate rainfall or even some snowfall is anticipated in certain spots within the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, with isolated showers also possible in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces.

Light precipitation is on the horizon for some isolated locations in the Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces. RSS
