Light rainfall likely in Koshi and Bagmati

Kathmandu, Oct 1: Light rain and snowfall are likely at a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces today.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is also a possibility of rain and snowfall in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Generally cloudy conditions will prevail in the mountain and hilly regions and partly cloudy conditions in the Tarai regions of the country.

The Division’s meteorological analysis indicates that the monsoon trough is currently near its normal position.

The entire country is under the influence of monsoon winds, along with a partial influence of westerly winds. RSS
