All-Party Meeting of Top Leaders Taking Place Today

Kathmandu, Sept. 16: An all-party meeting of top political leaders is being held today at the initiative of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.

The meeting is scheduled for 11:00 am at the RSP parliamentary party office in Singhadurbar.

According to RSP spokesperson Jagadish Kharel, the meeting will focus on the formation of a high-level political mechanism for disaster risk reduction and management.

Top leaders representing various political parties are expected to attend the meeting, Kharel said.

The meeting comes amid ongoing discussions on strengthening coordination among political parties and government bodies for effective disaster preparedness, response and management.
