Israel provides second phase of flood relief supplies to Nepal

KATHMANDU, Sept. 11: The Embassy of Israel in Nepal has expanded its emergency aid operations to flood-affected areas in Nuwakot district, delivering essential supplies to displaced families on Friday.

Diplomatic representative Janan Bebar, serving as Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, visited Ward No. 2 in Trishuli, Bidur Municipality, to distribute emergency packages and basic aid materials.

The distribution marks the second phase of Israel’s humanitarian relief effort following recent flooding in Nepal. The embassy previously delivered supplies to flood-affected communities in Baireni, located in Galchhi Rural Municipality of Dhading district.

According to embassy statements, Israeli officials are coordinating with Nepali authorities to evaluate continuing needs as recovery operations move forward across the affected regions.
