Nepal Telecom employees contribute over Rs 20 million in disaster relief fund

Kathmandu: The employees of Nepal Telecom have contributed more than Rs 20 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund in a bid to provide relief, rescue, and rehabilitation in the aftermath of the Bhotekoshi flash floods.

Managing Director at Nepal Telecom, Sangita Pahadi Aryal, handed over the contribution to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle on Monday.

Nepal Telecom informed RSS that it was also planning to institutionally chip in with the government to effectively launch the post-disaster activities such as relief distribution, rehabilitation, and reconstruction. RSS
