Israel provides emergency relief aid to flood-affected communities in Dhading

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: The Embassy of Israel in Nepal has delivered an initial package of emergency humanitarian assistance to families devastated by flash floods in Ward No. 6, Baireni, of the Galchhi Rural Municipality in Dhading district.
Deputy Chief of Mission Janan Bebar visited the disaster-affected zone to directly hand over emergency “Go-Bags” and essential relief packages to displaced individuals and families.
Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Shmulik Arie Bass expressed his country’s commitment to standing alongside Nepal during the crisis, noting that the embassy remains in direct contact with local authorities to assess evolving needs on the ground.
The Ambassador emphasized that the distribution in Dhading represents the first phase of Israel’s emergency relief effort, with additional humanitarian support scheduled for delivery as further requirements are identified across affected regions.
