Landslide Disrupts Traffic Along Prithvi Highway in Tanahun

Damauli, Aug. 24: Vehicular movement along the Prithvi Highway has been affected after a landslide blocked one lane of the road in Byas Municipality-12 of Tanahun.

According to police, the landslide occurred on Sunday evening, disrupting two-way traffic and causing vehicles to move through a single lane.

A 15-member team, including traffic police, has been deployed to the site under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire from the District Police Office, Tanahun.

The team is working to clear the debris and restore normal traffic movement along the highway.

Police have urged drivers and passengers travelling through the affected section to exercise caution as traffic remains disrupted.
