NA members draw govt.’s attention on various issues

Kathmandu: National Assembly (NA) members have drawn attention of the government to resolve problems of cooking gas shortage as the general people have been hit hard due to this.

Speaking in zero hour of the meeting of the upper house of the Federal Parliament today, Bishnu Devi Pudasaini and Krishna Prasad Adhikari urged the government for market monitoring to control black marketing as there is artificial shortage of cooking gas.

Similarly, Ghan Shyam Rijal demanded the release of senior journalist Kishor Shrestha. Likewise, Padam Bahadur Pariyar stressed the need to resolve the problem as construction of the Tanahu hydropower project has caused a change in the flow of Seti River.

Rukmini Koirala expressed sorrow over death of 10 climbers including six Nepali climber including Nirmal Purja while climbing Broad Peak in Pakistan.

Similarly, Bishnu Kumari Sapkota asked the government to determine room and house rent by making house and room rent policy in Kathmandu Valley.
