Government committed to meeting people’s basic needs: Finance Minister
Damauli: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said the government is committed to meeting people’s basic needs despite limited resources.
Speaking to voters in Dumsi, Ward No. 10 of Byas Municipality in Tanahu today, Minister Wagle said the government was working to address demands for drinking water, roads, schools, health facilities, embankments and playgrounds.
He said efforts had been made to ensure fair distribution of the budget and pledged to continue working for the development of Tanahu.
Local residents told the Finance Minister that around 500 households in Dumsi are facing a drinking water shortage. Minister Wagle said he would hold discussions with the concerned ministry to address drinking water and embankment problems.
