Communications Minister Dr. Timilsina discusses with local representatives

Kathmandu: Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina, engaged in discussions with SantamanTamang, the chairman of Tadi Rural Municipality, focusing on critical issues such as disaster management, education, health, and communication.

Minister Timilsina is an MP from this constituency. During the meeting at the Ministry today, Dr Timilsina sought to understand the overall development status of the municipality, as well as the challenges and expectations of its residents.

On the occasion, he expressed a strong commitment to prioritise and address the local demands and issues in alignment with federal government plans.

The Communications Minister announced plans to expedite the expansion of Nepal Telecom’s infrastructure at Muduledanda, Tadi Rural Municipality-2 and emphasised the importance of timely support for municipal needs in water supply, irrigation, roads, health, and communication sectors. He highlighted the necessity for coordination among local, provincial, and federal governments to effectively manage flood and landslide risks during the rainy season.

The Minister underscored his ongoing efforts to engage with local communities to resolve their concerns.
