Two bills sent for clause-wise discussion

Kathmandu: The House of Representatives has approved a proposal seeking endorsement to send two different bills to the concerned committees for clause-wise discussion.

In today’s HoR meeting, the proposals presented by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, were passed unopposed. The meeting passed the proposal presented for sending the bills– ‘Bill to revive previous provision of Nepal Special Service Act, 2042′(2083) – and ‘National Service Crops Bill, 2083’ for clause-wise discussion.

Earlier in the meeting, Minister Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Shah, presented the annual report of the Judicial Council, the annual report of the Judicial Service Commission and the 66th annual report of the Public Service Commission for the fiscal year 2081/82.

Similarly, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle tabled the ‘Bill designed to amend and repeal some Nepal Acts related to Finance, 2083’. The HoR will meet next at 11:00 am tomorrow.
