Social security allowance provided at doorsteps

Kalikot: Raskot Municipality in Kalikot district has distributed social security allowances to the beneficiaries at their doorsteps.

The municipality officials visited the social allowance recipients at their doorsteps to provide the amount. The beneficiaries of the social allowances include senior citizens and differently-abled persons.

The municipality’s Social Development Section’s Chief, Hukum Shahi, said that altogether 122 individuals, including 45 from ward no. 6, 25 from ward no. 7, 18 from ward no. 8 and 34 from ward no. 9, were given their amount of social allowance.

The municipality has partnered with a commercial bank to dole out the social security allowances to recipients for their convenience, Shahi shared. RSS
