GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Asian powerhouse South Korea secured a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Czechia in their opening FIFA World Cup Group A match at Guadalajara Stadium on Friday .

Czechia broke the deadlock in the 58th minute when defender Ladislav Krejci found the back of the net.
