Trauma Society of Nepal formed

Kathmandu: The Trauma Society of Nepal has been formed under the chairmanship of orthopaedic specialist Dr Pramod Lamichhane.

The Society was formed on Thursday with the presence of doctors involved in orthopaedic treatment, trauma management and related professionals.

Prof Dr Ramesh Prasad Singh, a veteran orthopaedic specialist, is named the patron of the Society.

Dr Shailendra Kumar Duwal Shrestha is picked as the senior vice chairman of the Society.

At the same time, Dr Hemanta Kumar Gupta, Dr Bijayandra Adhikari and Dr Alok Pandey would serve as the vice chairman, general secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Likewise, the Society has formed a Scientific Committee under the leadership of Dr Rohit Shrestha, comprising Dr Bhashkar Raj Karki, Dr Manish Shrestha and Dr Bishwa Bandhu Niraula as the members. RSS
