Newly-appointed Minister Pun assumes office

Kathmandu: Newly appointed Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, has assumed office at the Singha Durbar-based Ministry today.

On the occasion, Minister Pun expressed commitment to push the advancement of science and technology. He shared, “Advancement of science and technology is not possible at a slow pace. So activities will be carried out round the clock to spur its development”.

Newly appointed Minister Pun mentioned that he would remain in the ministerial post for not more than three years, even though the government is for five years.

He opined that responsibility would be transferred to the emerging generations by laying solid foundations for science and technology.
