Gandaki Province to Present Policies and Programmes for FY 2026/27 Today

Gandaki, June 2: The Gandaki Province Government is set to unveil its policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 later today.

According to the Province Assembly Secretariat, Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatta will present the annual policies and programmes in the Province Assembly at 4:00 PM.

Secretary of the Province Assembly Secretariat Govind Paudel said the presentation will mark the formal beginning of the budget process, as provinces are constitutionally required to present their budgets on Asar 1 of the Nepali calendar following the policy announcement.

The budget session of the Province Assembly began a week ago, during which discussions were also held on the principles and priorities of the upcoming appropriation bill.
