Nepal holds tourism promotion program in Bangkok

Kathmandu: A tourism promotion and business discussion program was organized in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday with the aim of attracting more Thai tourists to Nepal.

Nepal’s Ambassador to Thailand, Dhan Bahadur Oli, said tourism plays an important role in strengthening the long-standing historical, religious, cultural, and people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The event highlighted Nepal as an accessible and diverse tourism destination, showcasing key attractions including Lumbini, Janakpur, the Kathmandu Valley, Everest and Annapurna regions, wildlife tourism, yoga and wellness tourism, as well as adventure, film, and wedding tourism.

Tourism entrepreneurs from both Nepal and Thailand participated in the program, which the Embassy said would help expand business links, identify new partnerships, and promote tourism cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.
