The sit-in has been staged at Maitighar under the leadership of Dipa, against the discriminatory practice in renting rooms to the Dalit community.
Such a directive was issued after the discussion between Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Sita Badi, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, and Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s Press and Research Expert, Deepa Dahal.
