PM Karki stresses cow protection

Mahottari: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reminded that the cow is a revered animal of the Hindu people, so it needs protection.

Exploitation of cows must end, she said while inspecting a gaushala, cow enclosure at Nawarajpur of Gaushala municipality-3 in Mahottari district on Friday. The cows of the Nigaul species are kept in the enclosure.

She reminded that issues of not protecting cows were surfaced time and again. The cow should be nourished and protected, thereby linking it to employment.

On the occasion, a people’s representative from constituency-1 of Mahottari, Pramod Mahato, was urged to take the initiative to resolve problems facing cow protection. RSS
