Meteorological Activity to Rise from Thursday, Rain Likely in Parts of Nepal

Kathmandu, March 11 – The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has warned that meteorological activity is expected to intensify from Thursday, with rain likely in several parts of the country.

In a special weather bulletin issued today, the DHM’s Weather Forecasting Division said that the approaching weather system could gradually improve the current air pollution levels.

DHM Information Officer Dinkar Kayastha urged the public to take necessary precautions to protect their health from the impacts of polluted air. The department also stated that it is closely monitoring the weather system nationwide and will provide regular updates on any developments.
