UAE president Al Nahyan says security of citizens, residents top priority

March 8, Kathmandu: President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the safety of all citizens, residents and visitors remains the country’s top priority, adding that the United Arab Emirates is fully prepared to confront security threats.
In a statement addressed to people who call the UAE home as well as visitors to the country, he praised the country’s armed forces, security services and national institutions for their readiness and dedication in safeguarding national security.
He expressed appreciation to military personnel, security agencies and other national teams working to keep the country safe, saying they represent the highest standards of preparedness and cooperation.
The president also thanked Emirati citizens and expatriate residents for their solidarity and loyalty to the country, noting that the UAE’s diverse community contributes to the nation’s strength.
“In the UAE, everyone is Emirati through their love for this land and their contributions to it,” he said.
He extended condolences to the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured, adding that the UAE, the land of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, will remain united, defend its sovereignty and continue advancing toward the future.
