Proper Arrangements Made for Safety of Nepalis Working in Conflict-Hit Countries

Kathmandu: The government has stated that proper arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of Nepali citizens working in conflict-affected countries in the Middle East.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today at the Prime Minister’s Residence in Baluwatar discussed the Middle East conflict, including the attack on Iran, and the safety of Nepali nationals. Minister for Foreign Affairs Balananda Sharma said that coordination has been carried out through the concerned Nepali embassies to ensure the health and safety of Nepali citizens employed abroad.
Minister Sharma informed that no Nepali citizens have been injured or killed due to the conflict so far. He also said that arrangements have been made for Nepali citizens who are currently traveling in different countries to remain safely at their respective locations.
