Kalikot prohibits flying drones during election

Manma (Kalikot): Flying remotely pointed aircraft (RPA) and drone cameras are prohibited in the Kalikot district for three days in view of the election.

District Security Committee, Kalikot, took a decision to ban the use of RPA and drone cameras for three days in a bid to conduct the March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election in a peaceful manner.

Chief District Officer Gokarna Raj Suyal informed that the decision of prohibiting the use of drones and un-manned object was in line with Work Procedure on Use of RPA/Drone, 2075.

However, security agencies are exception to prohibition of such equipment.

Those violating the diktat would be brought to book as per law, Suyal added. RSS
