Snowfall affects life in Humla

Humla (Adanchuli): Snowfall has occurred in Humla.

It started snowfall with rain in Humla for the first time this year.

There has been no rain in the mountainous district, Humla, since last Mid-August.

Farmers who were worried of long gap in snowfall in the district now are happy to see snowing.

Rainfall is taking place in the lower part of the district.

In the lower geographies, heavy rainfall usually leads to snowfall, while in the upper Humla areas, such as Simikot and Namkha, are currently experiencing snowfall.

The snowfall has affected daily life here. With the snowfall, the road to Hilsa via Namkha rural municipality has been completely halted. RSS
