On Air Station:

Partial Influence of Westerly Winds Affects Weather Across Nepal

Kathmandu, Jan 21: Nepal is experiencing the partial impact of westerly winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division. Foggy conditions are likely to develop in parts of the Terai region later today.

The Division stated that the upper hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will see partly cloudy skies, while most other regions are expected to remain generally fair.

The Terai belt is forecast to experience dense fog during the morning and evening hours. Due to thick fog and haze, visibility may be significantly reduced, which could affect air traffic.

The weather service has urged airlines and travellers to remain alert.
