Congress Vice President Sharma Pledges Unity in Party

Kathmandu, Jan 16: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Bishwaprakash Sharma, has pledged to bring all factions of the party together as it embarks on a new chapter.

Speaking after the Election Commission recognized the Nepali Congress led by newly elected President Gagan Thapa, Sharma, who was also elected Vice President at the recent Special General Convention, emphasized the importance of collective effort.

In a video message on Friday evening, he stated that all leaders and party cadres will be included in the party’s forward movement. He added that the NC is advancing in a new direction, promoting a liberal economy inspired by the September 8–9 Gen Z movement.
