Election Commission, government, and political parties discussing HoR polls preparation

December 22, Kathmandu: Discussions among the government, political parties, and representatives of civil society, called by the Election Commission for preparations for the House of Representatives elections, are underway.

The meeting being held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar is being attended by the Prime Minister, representatives of political parties, Election Commission officials, and chiefs of security agencies.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the Election Commission and the Ministry of Home Affairs have made presentations on legal provisions and management aspects related to the election of members of the House of Representatives.
