Nepal’s National Flag Day being observed today

December 16, Kathmandu: Nepal observed National Flag Day today, Poush 1, marking the adoption of the national flag on Poush 1, 2019 BS (December 16, 1962), following the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal 1962.

On the occasion, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel extended best wishes to all Nepalis, emphasising respect for the national flag as a symbol of national unity, sovereignty, and identity.
