NPL 2025: Kathmandu and Lumbini Meet in High-Stakes Eliminator

Kathmandu, Dec 10: Kathmandu Gorkhas and Lumbini Lions will battle in the eliminator of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) later today, with both teams eyeing a spot in the next qualifying round.

The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Kathmandu Gorkhas wrapped up the league stage in third position, while Lumbini Lions finished fourth on the standings. In their earlier league matchup, Kathmandu had outplayed Lumbini by 22 runs.

The victor of today’s encounter will move forward to face Biratnagar Kings in the second qualifier set for tomorrow.
